Bio
While growing up, I enjoyed solving math problems and a variety of puzzles and riddles in general. All the while, I would often enjoy helping my struggling peers and friends to see how to solve a problem. Eventually, I was keen on choosing a computer programming major at the university level so I could learn more languages apart from mathematics for solving problems. Finally, I have now become a qualified software developer and have a few years under the belt working professionally in the industry. Over the years, I continued challenging and sharpening my problem solving skills. I now want to impart the knowledge I have and help willing students to sharpen their problem solving skills.
Tutoring style
My teaching style is dialogue-driven and engaging to be able to understand where a student is lacking and help fill in the gaps. I work collaboratively with the student to teach them the required concepts so they can have a strong foundational knowledge in a programming language. My end goal of interacting with the student is to make the students feel confident in attempting new challenges and come up with a solution themselves by strengthening their fundamentals and teaching them new skills.
