Bio

“My name is Anto and I graduated from the University of Redlands with a degree in Physics and two minors on Mathematics and Creative Writing. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Civil Engineering from Stanford University, located in Palo Alto, California. For the past 5 years I have worked as a tutor, for my University’s Academic Success Center, as well as for several tutoring companies. I have worked with students from all stages of life (K-12 and college level students). My sessions are tailored to each student’s set of skills, as I aim to find the best way in which each of them can learn. My goal as a tutor is to give my students enough resources so that they won’t need me anymore.”

Tutoring style

“My teaching style consists in adapting my lessons to my student’s preferred way of learning, whether it is visual, auditory, or hands-on. My aim is to be a guidance for them, and help them learn how to succeed in a way that is most comfortable with them. Additionally, I want students to feel comfortable learning, and eager to ask questions. I encourage discussions and critical thinking in my classes so that they may learn how to ask for help.”
